S. Kind & Co. was founded in 1872 by Samuel Kind, an immigrant fleeing imperial Europe, inspired by a country willing to tear itself apart in its pursuit of liberty and human dignity. Re-established in 2014 by his great-great-grandson Jacob Louis, the company continues a family tradition with a commitment to ethical craftsmanship.
