Some stones are so rare and beautiful that I hoard them for years before I set them simply because I want to. Such was the case with this simply stunning Masterpiece of unadulterated American Aquamarine. After studying and loving this gem for about five years I am so excited to share it now as part of our collection.
This light blue aquamarine comes from North Carolina, USA and is 100% untreated and natural as confirmed by the ring’s accompanying GIA Report. Almost all commercially available Aquamarines have been heated and loose their natural internal structure in the process. This stone simply glows in the way only icy natural untreated Beryl (the mineral family of Aquamarine, Morganite, and Emerald) can.
I sculpted the ring with minimal yet vintage Art Deco details - including the oh so lovely arched spiraling lattice filigree that encircles the under gallery. This incredible ring was then handset with Thirty-four Canadian Mined 1mm round brilliant cut diamonds, as well as Two 1.75mm and two 1.5mm round brilliant cut diamonds. Truly an American treasure and heirloom to be loved for generations to come!
