Sometimes we see a stone and know just how to set it. Such was the case for this glowing, broad faceted, antique Old European Cut Diamond. It's no secret that I have a deep love affair with Old Antique Diamonds. Their chunky facets produce broad brushstroke-like flashes of light that speak to me more than the pin-prick light flashes of light from modern round brilliant cuts. The gift of this stone is that in certain light it glows a bright white while at other times it picks up the yellow of the metal and shines an almost metallic gold color. Set in a sculpted unique modern meets vintage custom made low-profile solitaire design this ring is a minimal, and vintage contemporary heirloom.
